One of the forums I help mod is a large serving and ex forces forum. They'd spit this lot out without chewing.

Yep, they post right to the limit of the COC and basically laugh like they're "all" that. *shrug* it is what it is I guess. It's a changing world, politeness has disappeared.

mmm nothing in life is free in my book. theres allways a hook. or a catch to it some where doing it for 100 bits a week is just a way to compansate a player that pritty much dosent have a way to get bits them self.

and iv also seen other games do this for there forums.

thy higher on a few of the players as admins for eather there forums or for in the game its self and pay them in in game cash for there time working for them. (( 100 bits a week is cheeepr then some companys pay there people ))

but as for the people worryed about old grudges. and such. thats why you pick from a set pool of indifrent people. i dont care about PVP so i wouldnt be rage banning every one that PVPS and kills me. (( i would report a few of the hackers that i have started to notice )) but beond that the hole point of haveing someone in the community do it is also to open up more ties with the community its self.

i can think of 5 people off the top of my head that would do great for the job.

That's true, we need more moderators for the forums.

I've been mod for an online game in the past, for over a year... i wouldn't do that again even for 500 bits a day LOL **runs away in panic**

Yup done it before and never again, well maybe not never but it would have to be for a really good reason. I get soooooooo tired of the pouting. For this guy though it would require custom filter to stop his spam if they can't outright block him from the site.

Today is another example of why we NEED this feature enacted right away.

And for those wondering, the spambot is not so much about getting us to dial those numbers, its about getting those numbers on the internet in massive quantities. A way to trick webcrawlers etc. just your general scammy stuff.
