I do this also. Though I am only 3k, I too feel guilty when I have to do a daily at either Sniper Ridge or the Academy. If I stumble onto low EGOs already doing the mission or they arrive after I have been soloing, I'll switch to my BMG/infector loadout and give them some support.

I remember when I was low ego and some higher egos helped me out in situations like this so I always try to help low egos if they're in the same area/mission. If I see them running for their lives trying to reload or something, I'll take out as many enemies as I can or at least get them to aggro me so they are ignored for a few seconds. After all, it's called co-op for a reason

I've seen it happen often and then I wonder where that person was, I didn't see anyone else. It's kind of twilight zone like.

I wonder about this as well...

Maybe a sniper shot kill from a little beyond mini map range?

only time i can condone it is with events :: glairs ar dixie who got cought sliping last night afking at the SS event by me (( ya im the one who kited the volge at you :P hehe he just wouldnt stop chaseing me. and you seemed more intaresting to him when i neared you )) ::

but past that no.

if i catch you standing on the edge of an incersion, daily contract site, or any other thing im doing that involves my threat level being 10 becuse you dont want to help. i will bring holy hell down on you in the form of a kiteing. i will round up every single enamy that i can without killing them every one of them will follow me and i will use you as a meat shield while thy unload there weapons into you.

if its me bringing up the threat level (( mine sits at 6 all the time so i know when i up someone elses )) and i notice there not as high ego as me. ill stick around and help out but im not going to kill everything. ill hang back and kill a hand full of the badguys, but there still going to work for there reward screen. im not going to do all the work and take all the kills.

Not in Mt. Tam. That's new player turf and I provide mostly logistical support and fire support only when needed. My reasoning is: Why should I come into their turf for my daily contract and breeze through the instance when they could be doing a story mission (I.e., Sniper Ridge or the medical supplies one)? Why ruin that first experience?

So, I watch their backs, BMG heal if they need it, and mop up if needed. They get their experience and I get my daily.

Other than that circumstance and in any other area, it's nothing but ARs and SAWs for me.

That's why I try to heal and keep people alive. It's no fun when someone else comes in and wipes out everything right away. Same thing when low ego clannies would run standard co-ops. I sit back to heal/revive. The fun comes in shooting everything up. On the high level threats though, I try to heal and keep things from overwhelming them.

i to have seen this more and more now days, with just coming in tag 1 and leave just so they can get the credit for being there... i mean really?! doing dailys is beneath you so you do 1 of 2 things. you tag and leave or you tag and hang back and watch them work extra hard to get the job done?!?! that really ticks me off and i have herd some do that cause they want to do something else that is more important.

well if you have something more important then why not just do that then go do your daily's at another time then? i am a player/person that believes in if you start it then see it threw no matter what. i will always stay till the end and fight till the end. but i have been getting lazy kind of, i dont rez anyone much anymore since it doesnt happen to me and beside im into the : warmaster thinking of self rez/extract dont wait for it" type of thinking.

and if i do find the lecher i will drag as many as i can to you and go past you and watch them tear you a new 1 !! beside post it in zone chat and take a screen shot of there info..

far as bad spawn in places happy pow farm is about the worst 1 around i think. since it is mostly at TL10 and you at time see what/who is in there doing the daily/mission there. i have a few times when i do see who it is and check there info and they are a low ego player. ill help out beside it is easy keys/forge

i to have stop using the bmg over all since it is a low way of getting top score for doing Nothing really.. and now since trion has now nerf high ego for doing the standard coop maps. i really dont use them any more in there cause now i go from ego 5841 down to 1500 and the TL is now 3 no more TL1 ..

my self i only do the standard coop maps to do my dailys and that is it, i dont do them everyday/night i dont farm them at all. i only do any coop map for my dailys after they are done i am done with coop maps till the next time the weeklys start up again. i only do chimera expert coop for the daily cause of the blue core and that is it.

so who ever thought nerfing us high ego for laughs can go "bleep" them self.. so i now go and kill everything i can and keep going.

also has anyone seen the new thing in "motherload" with going to the near end and causing the door to get bug so other that fight to get there are now SOL ? i seen it again today for the daily and i do have the screen shot of the player as well if need be.. and there so call excuse is that they fell threw a whole and end up there kind of BS. which it is cause that same player stayed afk the whole time till they went to the end and finally started to fight. but at least i know how to get past that door now and it works so now i can finish it with the other.

The door trick has been around forever I accidentally ran through it the first time I did the motherload map thinking the hulker was back there.

love the door trick. also love the vanishing doors thoughout all the co op maps . it happens. offten. oh my fave was the WM door trick. if u load in slow enough and are able to run like mad u can drop down befor anyone else and post up and wait inside the chamber.

I always get stuck in the floor when loading the warmaster.
