tactics to use against the volge

I use a lmg and 4.6 crit pistol.

Perforator and Wolfie (6.8) here...works fine.

i think the Detu Ara is better than the Wolfhound. it has electric damage. takes shields down quick. then finish up with a shotgun if you are in close, or a high fire rate sniper rifle from distance. those tactics have worked great for me so far.

Hmmm...may have to try that. I hung on to my Detu (although it needs some level updating). I may have to update it and see if I like it better for Volge than the Wolfie.

This but it's more effective If you run towards them while firing, they have huge crit spots on the belly so take advantage of this.
Bombers at sieges are the first of the volge you should take out as they can make your life very difficult, then trooper and viscera.
Bio is a must on these as with any other enemies followed by rad or fire.

Troopers have a real big head crit so take advantage of it again using bio/rad combination.
Try and stay fairly close to them but backing up as they come, should they go to use thier ground pound just jump to avoid it. If you are fairly close to the one that you are shooting at he shouldn't charge and fire his grenade at you but the others might so keep an eye on the others.

Viseras, I do the same as Blackgut except for the rolling, circling them while firing works well and again using the bio/rad combination.

My tactic is simple:

Grab my bio castithian springer, cut them in half. When i run out of bullets, switch to my wolfhound and blow their heads away.

Also running in circles around them at close range helps a lot to avoid their fire.

the monarch pretty ease to kill wait until it rises up to strike at u and shoot it in the glowing area on the stomach then when it goes down run be hind it and shoot it in the rear also when it rolls at u u can hit it in the rear then too

Monarch? Put all 8 rounds of my OJ Ground Pounder on him, turn around and slowly walk away as i'm pushing 'Detonate'... End of Monarch, End of emergency. From all the weapons i've used since april '13 the Ground Pounder was most effective against Hellbugs of any sort.

Solo'ing Volge is easy as well. In a SS Bombers and Troopers die within 3 seconds, Viscera's take a full 6 seconds. Of course this is at TL 3, so that doesnt count. On TL 6 they take twice as long to put down, and i actually need to switch weapons. Break down armor plates with my Bio-Nezumi, then the shields with my Shock-Nezumi and then back to the Bio-Nezumi to finish him off (oh, how i wish we had 3 weaponslots haha. Would put a Fire-Nezumi in the last one).

At TL 10 i do the same, but since there are other players around i skip the finishing part. In other words, in the final event of a SS or Siege i strip the armor plates from any Volge i see. I switch weapons and strip the shields as well. Then i leave the naked Volge for you all to kill as i move on to strip the next one from his plates and shields. Except for the Bombers, i do kill them at sight! They need to leave the battlefield ASAP! They're the easiest Volge to kill, but the most annoying one to have around you.

This is how I XP capped originally. I would drive from Muir to Port Stinson which I referred to as Monarch Alley.

these are one of the easyest to take out shoot it until its dead if u get hit by one of its atacks roll twice and it will clear the effect always make sure to take them out first

when fighting a warrior ether shoot it till its dead or wait until it runs at u and open its mouth then shoot it in the mouth till it dead or shoot it in the rear doesnt do as mush as the mouth but still does exta damage
