    Eyefinity / Nvidia Surround Support

Please implement AMD Eyefinity / Nvidia Surround support to Defiance.

    What is that?

Playing with more than one monitor:

    Nvidia Surround: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-visi...echnology.html
    AMD Eyefinity: http://www.amd.com/us/products/techn...eyefinity.aspx

What the game looks like now without support for Surround/Eyefinity:

Here you can see the HUD is stretched across all three monitors and not centered on the middle screen.

    Centered HUD for Example:

You only need to let the game recognize the display resolution and in case of a very high resolution the hud should be centered.

    That's not so complicated...

For example in Unity or Unreal Engine this would take only a minute of .ini editing.

If there will be no native support for this, can players get banned for using tools like widescreenfixer or flawlesswidescreen to fix that on their own?

    Thanks!

    thank you dude!

That's ridiculous I've contacted the support about 5 times, posted a few tweets to sledgehammer and also called them in the UK and in the U.S.
the guys who picked up the phone at both studios won't connect me to someone to get some answers.

there are so much threads about this in the beta forums and no dev EVER replied to this.

At Rift happened exactly the same.

I try my luck today again to get someone on the phone.

Definitely would be nice. I can see this as something on their list of things to do. But I can make do for now without it. There are far more people experiencing things that aren't as trivial as this.
Your sig is wittier than mine.

Yeah I'm hoping this is on their LARGE to-do list. FOV first and foremost then everything else :P Hopefully it wont be too had to centre the HUD/UI etc. At least with a FOV adjustment the game will be more playable.

Release will hopefully be on the weekend!

Still awaiting a response from the devs

There were not interessted on fixing it and now that other people did THEIR WORK,
I want a ******* response or i will call you trion every minute of your business hours for the next weeks until you give the widescreen gaming community a clear response for the following:

    1. Can we get banned for using it?
    2. WHY are you not able to implement a widescreen resolution fix for your customers??
    3. WHY are you ignoring each thread, post or ticket about this?
If a Trion Employee, CM read this here don't tell me that's not true.. it is TRUE
    4. WHY is it so hard to reach someone of you / get a clear answer about it?
    5. WHY are you not familiar with the technology of the actual graphics hardware / software / features?

Hayden from flawlesswidescreen.org worked more than 20 HOURS of his free time to make this fix possible for everyone who's playing with eyefinity or nvidia surround.

    thank you
