Good day ladies and gents. Today marks another fine day on our calendars before the epic and legendary release of Defiance. We are all extremely excited about the launch of this truly unique and badass experience that is about to unfold on April 2.
With that said, I would like to introduce all of you to the CORE Legion. We are a clan formed by a melting pot of players from all over North America. We are yet to know if region locking will allow South American players to be a part of our clan, but if so, we definitely have plans to reach out to those players in the coming days. We do not discriminate by race, gender, or age; however, we do require our players be at least 18 years of age or older due to our normal gaming vigor: strong language and possible vulgar references. It's just the normal gamer attitude in the majority of us, so we want to be fair and not advertise to those individuals who are young, immature, and offended by our way of life.
CORE: Counter Operations Recon Expedition. Sounds pretty cool, huh? A lot of people think so. Although our clan tag is [CORE], we prefer the full name: CORE Legion. We are not game specific either, but Defiance is our starting place, and our founding game. We have players who also enjoy Firefall, and we plan to offer even more games with each game having it's own separate leader to ensure the highest quality of clan service provided to our members. We also do not focus on PvP, PvE, or any other single aspect of any game. Our focus is made on a game's entirety. We will be watching the show, talking about story/lore, and enjoying all aspects of a game, not just one.
We already have plans for some of us to gather in a public location for a clan lan party. Our goal is to be as interactive as possible with our clan members and the communities that surround us. Although we are not in any way "hardcore", we do plan on having a "hardcore" group amongst us for those players who wish to play that way. We definitely want to achieve and reach every goal possible in the game while understanding what's going on in the Defiance world around us by staying tuned to the show and any literature published on the subject matter.
Lastly, our clan is not worried about what kind of application you can fill out or how often you post on a forum. In fact, our website will not have a forum unless we just really need to have one. We want players to put their headsets on, chat on TeamSpeak, and play games together. That's what we are all about. There's no reason to stray from the true meaning and purpose that our clan was built upon: play games, make friends, and have fun.
Here's our current clan requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must have a mature attitude.
- Drama is a no-no and will not be tolerated.
- All major decisions are made final by player vote.
