The mech at the bridge is there to block the area off until you hit the appropriate point in the storyline.
And what about sniper rifles? Other than them being stupidly good in PvE? Seriously. My frontier sniper will one shot anything non-elite outside of a dungeon, and will one or two shot anything non-elite inside. It takes 2 shots outside the dungeon and 3 inside for most elites.

I happen to agree about the arkfalls, I've got nothing but crap from them the entire time. Now I just skip past them. Everything just seems like crying.

Arkfalls are fun, you get keys you can buy lock boxes to get stuff, they did say though that they would be increasing rewards, also its only the major arkfalls the last stage there is a issue with loot, I got 2 blues tonight through a major though.

also later on there are a bunch of different style ones, i preffer the bandit ones as there is lots to shoot and lots of money and salvage to pick up, plus they are more challenging.

over all arkfalls are fun, always happy to to one, just right now the major monarch one is a bit of a chore.

All this ranting about the state of the game is now getting to be just a tad bit annoying. TC, I understand your frustration, and I, and many others in the community are having issues, but your rant is not what the developers need right now. So you brought the UE $150 edition and your codes are not working yet? Give it time. Gamestop sure as hell cant help you with that, they had nothing to do with making the game. Visa can't help either. And CS rep at Trion are just that, CS. Not game developers. They have to get word from the people who are actually, well developing the game, before they can relay that to you.

At least your willing to wait and see how these issues are resolved, but I feel sorry for the people OUTSIDE Trion you are dealing with. YOUR NOT GOING TO GET ANY OF YOUR MONEY BACK!!! Not happening. So really the only thing you can do is wait. Unless your go trade your game in or something. I think Gamestop can give you like $20 trade credit if you do it now.

Other than that, I do enjoy them. I like large-scale cooperative things like that, which is why I liked Rift so much. My friends and I still refer to them as Rift events when we do Arkfalls :P

I had hopes for the game and liked the beta and do like playing it when I can but here are the main reason's I put this in the hunk of junk, waste of time and money group.

I want what I pay for and it should not be a getting up at dawn mind numbing pride swallowing siege to get what I paid for I should not spend 3 to 6 hours in your chat que to get help only to get nothing because even your CS department can't fix it I paid 165$ for this and about 60$ is digital items I did not get and do not have you did not have to wait around to get paid, you did not have problems pulling the money from my visa card it was a easy process so why is it not like that to get the items I payed for? No bit's out of the 1200 I should have had and even CS cant get them to show up, no clue if my season pass is their or not, had to wait again in que for 4 hours to get my ultimate edition items from CS when they should have just been their after I put my code in on my PS3 but nope.

Complete waste of time I have spent more time on the phone with gamestop, sony, and waiting in your que to talk to someone then I have actually played the game I would say it's about a 2 or 3 to 1 ratio of time spent trying to get my stuff and the game to work right to playing, it's basically a job at this point to get what I paid for like a 8 or 10 hour day of phone calls, emails, and chat why not put that on the box as a advertising bonus like this is what you will get to do if you buy this hunk of junk spend hours and hours of your life trying to get the things that should just be their.

Now once you get past all that and still get ripped off and lied to about what your going to be getting it's time to play and I use that term loosely.

You log on the the lag fest know as defiance and hope you can stay on long enough to do something with out getting disconnected basically avoid arkfalls or highly populated areas now if I had the most craptastic internet connection know to man I would not complain but at 100 MEG's down it should not be like this for me but I could even let that go if not for the still more issues.

Chat, voice chat was suppose to be fixed from beta well big surprise it's still garbage not fixed or even looked at I bet just awful.

No arkfall loot thats kind of the point for a big boss battle is the loot drops but hey you get a big this is where you placed and got nothing for it, thats if you manage to stay connected I love getting into a arkfall and getting disconnected so I don't even get any keys or anything at all other then the time of my life spent I will not be getting back.

Creatures what a joke they never miss they can bend bullets around walls like in wanted no cool down at all on their big weapons they just spam them their range is a joke think grenade launchers with snipper rifle range and accuracy and arkfalls LMAO it's a big flying through the air landing on your back fest is their anything that can't just go under ground and pop up underneath you ? and I love how they get a little indicator of their coming up here and even if you run away from that section they still just pop up from underneath you, hand to hand attacks that do more damage then a gun and they can hit you from like 10 feet away with a hand attack just laughable.

Loot drops where a joke before they nerfed them now their even more craptastic but hey I get it you want people to buy bits to get equipment they will not do that if they find loot will they.

This is before the laundry list of bugs and glitches.

I could wait and let things right them selves as you patch and patch away most of this stuff happens in the opening of a launch but the not getting what I paid for thing and the time I have spent trying to get that stuff was the real killer for me I am not paying 165$ and just taking 1/2 the stuff I was suppose to get.

By doing that you have violated visa terms of agreement you sold me a product describing it as one thing and giving me another not what you said I would be getting, as such I am entitled to a refund either from gamestop or by visa.

I will give you some time I have my 90 days to file my charge back I get what I payed and you fix things then thats good if not then I am going to charge this back to visa or take it back to gamestop.

I have the very cheapest internet Xfinity offers and haven't noticed lag at all, in anything. I've done major arkfalls, pvp, co-op events etc and had no issues.

Voice chat is broken, no big deal...life goes on. Why throw a fit about them trying to go beyond what most other MMO companies do with their games? Give it time, it'll work eventually...and guess what...the chat box still works! You can type!

Enemies miss quite often. In fact a little movement goes a long ways. Move and things coming out of the ground won't hit you. Move and that grenade that takes 3-5 seconds to fly to you at that long range will miss. Big weapons have a pattern. Most "Elite" enemies do an attack every second for 3 seconds and then there is a 15 second gap for you to deal damage (dodge, dodge, dodge...attack for 15 seconds with no fear of reprisal). I've never been attacked my a melee attack from 10 ft away.

Equipment is fine...plenty of gear for script + faction as well as keycodes+script lockboxes, neither of which costs real money. Nice try though.

It's amazing how people completely exaggerate things to make it seem like they are mistreated, when in fact, life happens and they think everyone else should be perfect for their sake when they in fact are not perfect themselves.

Forgot I love how I have to use a pool of ammo for my SMG's, LMG's, and assault rifles must have be to lazy to give each type of weapon their it's own ammo so now I get to equip 1 weapon out of those 3 instead of 2 because I do not want to burn through the ammo in a arkfall.

Normally I'd laugh because the OP's playing on the PS3 (assumed due to Sony reference), but sadly overzealous people like this exist on the PC side too.

It's probably on purpose so you actually DO have to go back for ammo rather than just shifting between loadouts. Use your ammo wisely.
