So, you are saying there are experts at launching 1 MMO on 3 entirely different mediums simultaneously(never been done before) on a strict launch date because of it being the first game ever to interact with a television show(also never been done before) and i am the ignorant one? I hear Hawkings is an expert on time travel let me call him up ill have him snag you a dinosaur egg.

First - Yes, there are companies who specialize in simulating millions of different end-user connections all at once.

Second - The PC, PS3 and Xbox versions of this game are not all running together on one server. This is not a cross platform game, and for all practical intents all three games can be considered different games. Yes all three platforms support this game, but they are independent of each other.

Third - Interact with a television show? There is no interaction here. There are currently two quests that feature characters from the show, but no actual interaction. I highly doubt if those two quests will even have any impact or mention in the show at all.

Fourth - "... and I am the ignorant one?" Yes, very much so.

Fifth - Funny enough, Hawking actually did throw a party for time travelers at his own home. He sent the invites/notices out the day after the party. I'm told no one came, but who would believe him if he said anyone had shown up?

Sixth - "... and I am the ignorant one?" I just want to be clear on this one. Yes, you are the ignorant one here.

Its an MMO. MMO launches are terrible even with cut and dry rehashed crap mmo stuff. Trion is doing something new and bold crap is going to be buggy. Read the stickies, they are working on it. If you wanted something that worked perfectly out of the box you should have bought COD or Bioshock. GG Trion keep at it. You wont tell these B&#$%#$ to shut up so ill do it for you. I will bet you got the cheap tier of the game and did not have any problems with getting your stuff.

It's the times I get games like this that make me happy to get COD, BF, Bioshock thats why they are AAA titles you don't get the junk and the problems.

Games are like movies the games you mention would be the summer blockbusters like avengers or batman something like that this game is more a indie movie or strait to DVD.

The only defense I ever see is "this is an MMO launch", from a company which already has a MAJOR launch under its belt previously. They should have learned from the previous mistakes, not just make them because avid MMO users will accept it as normality.

fact remains this is the first mmo for xbox, second or 3rd for ps3, there are going to be issues at the start, it was expected, and if you had half a brain you would have anticipated this. your demands and expectations or too high for a new project. be realistic not an extremist

PC Server issues are apparently fixed; PS3 problems nearly so; Xbox 360 far behind the curve.

My point here is that although this is a multi-platform release with expected bugs, I don't see THREE things here:

1.) Why are we not updated as to the progress. Even a "Still FUBAR", would be appreciated.
2.) Xbox server is a major issue here... Where is Microsoft's team to help.
3.) WTF is taking so long?!

FYI: Migrated from Mass Effect 3 to this world. I love what I've seen (when I actually can stay connected).

First - And yet every single true mmo has a rocky start. Those dudes must be pro.
Second - One company to code and debug by your words three different games on a very aggressive timeline. The shear amount of work is staggering. Thanks for making my point.
Third - I see how you want to think that coordinating thousands of people is so easy. But the fact is game making and movie making are two completely different animals and you cant just ignore it. There are timelines for the whole thing to work. Timelines being met by people who don't know or even have a clue how the others process even works. Completely different industries.
