I do know that they have posted the beta system requirements.

System Requirements

Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8
At least 2 GB System RAM
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz CPU or better
512MB video card (NVIDIA GeForce 8600 class or better)
ATI Radeon HD 2900
Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics
DirectX 9.0c
DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card
Broadband internet connection or better
At least 15 GB free hard drive space

Apologies in advance if this is a stupid/silly noob question, lol.

Does anyone know if a intel graphics card with about 1gb shared will run the beta? I'm a console gamer and a mac user :P but I have an old family laptop lying around collecting dust that I thought I'd try and boot up to check out the beta if it would run it.

If you have a fairly recent Mac, you might be better off using that with Bootcamp. We'd be able to give you a better idea on the laptop if we knew the stats on it.

There's no guarantee yet that Bootcamp will work properly, either, but once we get the official Sys reqs, someone should be able to give you an idea. I'm not sure if anyone on the Beta boards actually has one they're using, or has tried with, to give you a better answer.

I had bootcamp running XP on my mac and I removed it a few days ago because I never used it. Damn, me! lol

-GeForce 9400M 256mb

I'm assuming my mac wont run it.

The specs for the other laptop are pretty similar, 2 or 4 gigs of ram, dual core processor, and the intel graphics card that has 1gb shared. (I still don't have it in front of me so that is just off the top of my head. Could anyone give me some insight on whether or not it would run on either of my machines with the info I provided? Let me know if there is something else you need to know. I'm assuming nothing I own will run it and I'll just wait and cross my fingers for a console beta, lol.

Ouch. I'd think for a lot of games you'd be hard pressed to play them even on the lowest settings with that. But you could always try the beta out and see.

You should actually be ok to run it I think on your other laptop. The game doesn't seem to be that hardware needy. Just when you get into the beta change your graphics to low to stop the blur effect from moving aiming.
