PC Server down?

Attempting to login now responds instantly that servers are unavailable instead of taking forever and timing out eventually. It may be a step in the direction of coming back up.

I was just doing side missions to clean up the map, but no big deal, gives me to time to a normal shower and not a rushed shower before going to work xD

I logged off when my husband did and now I wish I hadn't. If I try to log in now, I don't have a character. It just prompts me to make a new one. This causes me deep concern.

I'm just getting the instant "The Defiance service is not available. Please try again later" message... I didn't really mind getting disconnected, as it gave me some time to take a break and eat lol. But I'm done... LET ME IN!! =,(
