Servers still down for XBOX? 4 am est time

I've tried every 30 mins or so. I got to the character select screen once and was really stoked and then promptly let down. I could handle the 30 min downtime yesterday, but this is awful. I hope it's not a frequent late night occurrence since this is when I'll be playing mostly.

Yea, I keep getting to the "connecting to servers" screen. The nice little wheel spins around for a while before I get the "server timed out" critical message. I haven't been lucky enough to get to the character select screen. :-/

Yeah this is when the game should be running smooth, im just suprised that there was no updat and the servers been down for 2 hours!

got that too...if on top of everything else we've lost our toons....sheesh.

I not asking for an ETA on when the xbox servers are going to be up and running again, but is it too much to ask that the devs drop a little memo about the servers being planned to shut down or crashing in the server status section of the forum? you know, just 2 simple lines would work:

"Server down. Try again tomorrow"....wouldn't be thrilled to see that, but at least it would make some use of that weird little "server status" section of the forums. i see PC has had constant updates and is running again...maybe it's just the xbox rep isn't awake any more.
