I agree 100%. We need a field of view adjustment!

Well i don't feel motion sickness but all that prevent players to play a game they paid for should be a priority.
So +1.
And to those that say there shouldn't be 1st person view ... So remove the zoom from weapons ... There is a 1st person view already but it's really poorly done actually.

Whole heartedly agreed. I won't quit the game over this, but it's still something that would really lessen the claustrophobia. =P

+1 on FoV we need a slider something fierce, -1 on first person view

I just want to be able to play first person view please. I have a lot of friends that won't even try the game because it is not a first person shooter. I would like nothing more then to be able to tell them they can play Defiance in first person. They would all buy the game and stop playing call of duty.

I agree 100%, the current camera-view is not practical at all. It prevent you from aiming to the left. I poste something about this on a thread called : Character's Position on Screen...
This should be a major issue.

Please fix this. I bought the game for 60 dollars USD and so far have played for only 40 minutes because of disconnects and nausea.
There needs to be an option for FoV and the ability to center your character on screen.

Funny thing is there is already wider field of view adjust in the game. Refill your ammo and the camera will push back and you get a wider view. Can we have that as an optional default view?

An FoV slider really would make a huge difference and there is no reason NOT to give us the option. As for a first person option, I have to disagree given that the game is designed from the ground up as a third person shooter.
Hopefully once they get the major bugs smashed on all platforms we will start seeing some PC-centric patches and options for UI changes. Just a few tweaks would make so many people so happy.
