Bumping does nothing whatsoever, I recommend you don't. Trion has their schedule of when to look at the list of suggestions, bumping won't make them reply or anything any way.

I agree I think you should also be able to change which shoulder you're aiming over like in APB: Reloaded as well as being able to lean around corners.

there should be a option in the menu to change the fov from 3rd person to first person even have a option for the fov view while driving the cars there should be a option for first person view on the driving aswell a option to fully turn off the hud ui or scale it and a option to set the hud ui to how you want it we should never be forced into having the hud fov ui set up we should have the option to change it all to how we want its all option so you wont be forced into it

Really would like to see a FOV slider in the game but I haven't seen any posts from the dev's, I feel like this is falling on deaf ears

Another game also has no FOV. It was fixable using keybinds.
like so..

/bind 8 "gfxsetdefaultFOV 75"

So you could set 8 to 35, 9 to 90, wheelplus to 55 (initial default) and wheelminus to 75 (best)

The beauty is they would not have to modify their UI pages to implement this while allowing us more of an over the shoulder viewing option.

Just allow the option and let us do it. Keep it simple...

Obviously this problem is not going to be addressed, nor fixed. Haven't even tried to play Defiance since purchase. Waste of money for me and my wife (who won't play her account alone).

I hate First Person View but am open to providing an option for those who prefer it. Just make it a choice for each player to decide how they want to play. The slider idea if done correctly isn't a bad idea for those who like FPS.
