While we wait, let's discuss our tips and tricks on being in the top few at the end of arkfall events!

Shoot shiny spots, make sure you don't use a gun with low ammo capacity and refill ammo when youre out!

Personally, I always find my self running behind everything. I've noticed, like majority of everyone else, that the backside is normally the ever-exposed weakness. When it comes to the last event, I find it better not to pay attention to anything but the monarch and hellion. I've seen lots of people say they feel more productive killing the other creatures, but it's about getting to the end and leveling up!

Don't just mindlessly shoot at anything that moves. Focus on weak spots. Shooting anything else wastes ammo. Knowing the attack patterns of the enemies you are facing helps anticipate when they will expose weak spots.

For example, Monarchs rear up on two legs showing their stomach. Shoot there and roll to the side quickly to avoid the ground slam attack. After a Monarch rolls their rear is vulnerable for a short period. Use a Flash Grenade and it will stun a Monarch, they will lift up a leg slightly exposing their underside for a couple seconds twice before they recover.

i use a solid gun that does a lot of damage on the main boss then use a pretty strong infector gun on the smaller enemies that spawn. i've been in the number one spot quite a few times with this tactic. oh. i also throw grenades whenever it recharges just because they're useless imo

Only kill what you have to. If it's a destroy the crystal hellbug arkfall then leave the skitterlings alone and quit using splash damage weapons and vehicles.

Yeah, don't ****ing murder all the Skitterlings with a hauler.


ALSO: For the Helion fight...

KILL THE DAMNED MONARCHS. Don't even worry about the warriors unless they're punching you in the face, the monarchs are what trigger the Helions phases.

Shoot the 4 mouths
Shoot the Helion to 75%
Kill the two monarchs
Shoot the Helion to 50%
Kill the three monarchs
Shoot it down
