cant connect to the server

i was joining my game in matchmaking and it got stuck loading and eventually crashed out to the start screen saying my connection timed out. tried to reconnect and nothing, restarted the game and nothing. i uninstalled the game and reinstalled and still nothing. what more do i have to do to get back into the game? i am playing on pc btw and havent had issues until now.

I was right at the end of a major arkfall... nobody was helping me... just me, so it seemed weird. Then the server appears to have gone down. I think something was going on and they took it down. I wish there was a real time server status thing to look at.

when it happened to me it was about 2 hours ago and my clan was still playing ingame just fine
