I just spent the past 24 hours downloading and updating defiance, only to be told that the defiance service is down. I was really hoping that I would be able to play before I went home tomorrow where there is no Internet and tears of boredom rain down on my carpet. Can I ask you guys for a Christmas miracle, and be able to play?

Yes, the PSN has been compromised by a hacking group. This is not on Trion's side. Are the xbox servers down as well? Seems counter productive to demand that a network stay UP by taking it down.

If you Google, or even read the latest news on Yahoo, you would know that North Korea was never involved. I wonder if Sony feels stupid for caving to a bunch of bored hackers.
