    3.5 hour response time. Impressive.

You need to tell whoever matters that a message on twitter and response on the forums more than 3 hours after the initial problem is unacceptable; as if you guys aren't even aware of that.

    Downtime, acceptable. Zero communication, unacceptable.

yes i realize its more than that, but still an easy fix, like u guys keep saying happens in almost all MMOs so the problem is common

But maybe paying customers should wait few weeks before they buy cause they know that there will be more down time than playing time.
No, im sure you're correct. Im just setting the motion for "What's going on, just tell us so we stop talking about it like its our Facebook status" :P

You are quite right. Most new games do experience some minor hiccups, sever stabilization issues, patch mis-matches. Any MMO player has been through this time & again. Which is why I, unlike some more impatient & immature people, don't threaten to cancel my subscription the moment something happens. Whiners are why some games like WoW have become so nerfed that it takes nothing to get to max level. You can't have a good, challenging game and make it easy as well! Learn when to appreciate what you have!

That being said, an ETA would be appreciated so I may decided if I want to get some extra sleep this morning.

really disappointed.. Got game last night, spent hr or so patching downloading.. Then wasn't able to play. Wake up early before I have to head to classes and still can't play the game I bought.. FRUSTRATED a bit.

dude, we all know that Trion and Sledge are working hard, we all know they are aware of the many issues that have come up and we know they are trying to fix it. I'll agree that PSquared prolly could have worded his post a little more respectfully, but he has a valid point. the servers were down for HOURS before we got any "OFFICIAL" information and that "OFFICIAL" information did not, well, inform. all it told us is something we've known for hours and have been waiting with varying degrees of patience for some time now for just some word from up high. and when we finally get a shout out, there is no response or comment about the many problematic and concerning bugs and issues that have been voiced, as there has in previous pact posts from the devs. the potential loss of one's character is a very, very serious issue, and i can appreciate how someone who is worried about that is going to be a little less than patient. you can say what you will about launch days and mmo's.....all true....but to wait for hours to even just tell us something we already know is bad enough, without responding to any concerns or giving an ETA....ect.

Honestly, his comment wasn't even that offensive, Adanu, so lay off before you prove his point for him.

This game is awesome, and I can't wait to get back on and play. Thanks to the staff for working, i'm sure, nightmare hours to get our game back up and running, but i think a little more information is not too much to ask when it comes down to it

That's not always a good option. Consider the unpredictable nature of the industry. What if the game's a "flop" - then you've just invested more.

"Hire more at launch" - sure, but what to do after the game settles, and you're overstaffed. Let's not forget, it's also a business.
