This is valid, make it cost cores and AF then the grind is exactly the same and only applies to 5k+ players like Paradise or Chimera.

That wasn't what I meant.I meant upgrading T4 mods into T5 that AREN'T from those factions.They could make it cost 25 Arkforge and 10 Caerelum Cores,this way you'll have to grind anyways.

I actually think this is a really good idea (perhaps it should be placed into the suggestions section?). Maybe they could tweak the cost a little, but using cores to upgrade a regular T4 syn to T5 would make sense. It shouldn't be at a vendor tho, it should be done using the salvage matrix & have the same encryption setting as weapons. Thus, the endgame for 5k players is still there because of the cores, people would still buy lock boxs because you'd still require a T4 to turn it into a T5 & people would buy even more arkforge... because then they'd want to turn all four mods into T5's.
