Okay, I'm going to be the oddball here and actually post a thank you to everyone at Trion Worlds Technical Support who helped me with some minor issues that I encountered with the game! I know a lot of people out there on several different platforms are experiencing some difficulties that might make them a tad bit more upset then it does me, but as with every MMO: IT ONLY GET'S BETTER FROM HERE!
With that said, let me explain my problem so that if you experience this, you will know how to fix it!
Problem: Was not receiving my Pre-Order bonuses or Ark Hunter Rewards from the website.
Platform: PS3, Digital Copy from PSN - North America
Solution: A few of the forum posts that I read on here suggested to go to the Trion Worlds Support website and contact one of the live tech support to discuss your problems if you are unable to receive your pre-orders or ark fall rewards if you purchased the game digitally. I did just that, I marched myself straight to the website, where Live Chat was available for me so I took the opportunity. I had to wait a few hours, because I was in a queue of 400+ others. That's a good sign, to me, because that shows that others have experienced the problem, or a problem, and was smart enough to take that kind of action instead of giving up and raging over the forums.
While my down time, I decided to play the game as normal.. Ya know, just because I don't have the new vehicle, or the awesome weapons yet, doesn't mean I need to stop playing the game?!??!! I'm gonna kill the shtako out of those damn mutants, better then going GRALKSEJ;RKLJ over the forums and only make matters worse for others who tend to... absorb that type of negative energy and feedback (shame on you -.-). Well, low and behold I go and log back into the game and take a gander at my Defiance Store (Start > Hold L2 > Right Analog stick to Defiance Store > X, release L2), and looked at my Claim Items, I had 15 items to claim! WOOHOOO! I thought it was my pre orders and ark fall rewards, but it was just the ark fall rewards; but daaaaaaamn 15? Let's just say I was a little excited there guys!
I won't spoil it, and tell you what those 15 are, that's something you gotta figure out on your own! I am excited, though. So I go and kill some more mutants, do some side missions, just to kill a few hours til tech support reaches me on the little pop-up screen; which, they eventually did. I only had to explain them that I didn't receive my pre-order bonuses, I told them my email and PSN username (email you used to register to the site), then told them the actual platform to make things faster.. it's best under these conditions to have all the information you can grab ready so they can get you in, get you out, and get other's in... don't stop the train when it's as long as two states!
In under 10 minutes the tech support told me to log out and log back in, my pre-order bonuses should be there so I did, and BAMMMN BABEH I'M IN THE GAME! Got my shtako, and I'm happy!
So again, I say, to all the tech support and awesome developers out there who are working over time (been there, trust me) on this, thank you for your awesome work! I hope others could show the same appreciation here (Yes I'm talking to you, you no good for nothing haters {I <3 U ^_^}), or at least will after reading this! Awesome work and a job well done!
Now as soon as these blasted servers get back online, Imma play an hour or so before I have to go into work and deal with some raging lunitics called tech support ;(
