Name any significant changes between the last 'beta' client and this 'live' client.

That's the sound of a freight train carrying huge patches headed our way to implement or fix all the things they were supposed to have in Alpha and some in Beta.

Only games that launch in an unfinished state do this.

Yes, but that depends on what kind of weapons you like, its an infector that does alot of dmg over time

10% faster reload, 10% faster fire rate, 25% weapon reloaded on kill, +2 Outlaw Synergy..

Kinda sucks cause it doesn't spawn parasites on firing, they only appear after something dies, but meh dot dmg is hectic

Well, I just asked, because there's been lots of discussion about all loot is allmost equal wether you are low level or high level.

I logged at 10:30 EST to go do a workout. It looks like I was spared a rollback, for those curious on a cut-off time. Unfortunately, that is all I can offer in terms of personal accounts for who is/is not affected by the rollback.

Roll back's are pretty serious, I'm surprised their was no warning or official discussion after it happened, that's very odd.

I was also affected by this. Lost quite a bit of mission progression, not to mention the loot drops.

Edit: checked my stream, I logged back in when the servers went up to rank 323, I got booted when the servers went down at rank 338, I had completed the story mission "Parts and Parcel", which is no longer complete after the rollback, at around 40 minutes into my play session earlier, for a total time of 2 hours and 30 minutes, so roughly 2 hours of time lost.

I honestly can't remember the last MMO that changed or fixed much of anything during "beta" testing. It's mostly just there for hype and to test some of the back end infrastructure. I miss the days of actual beta testing, but they are long gone.

Damage is about equal between different rarities of the same item. This particular infector is called a Canker (IIRC), and a level 10 white version will do the same damage as a level 300 orange version, but it will have some nifty auxiliary effects.
