Well as they saying goes there is a sucker born every minute.
If your paying more then 250K PC NA for most Nade your paying that because your in a hurry desperate or have no clue how easy it is to get them for that price I see them advertised for 100 to 250k regularly in zone.
I got a Oj shrill drop out of like my 5th ever box and never worried about getting any more as I only needed the one for the pursuit however I would pay for a OJ bio between 100k and 250K certianly nothing more then that despite having more then enough script to be able to pay 3-4 times that.
Seriously some people over value their pixel crack and that is more my point of why I would not pay more.

So an OJ frag, an item that has a 3.1 divided by 5 chance which is like a 0.0062 chance, that at max ego does 64000-66000 ish damage in pvp to you is worth under 250k scrip? That's funny, a weapon that can one shot anyone in the game is worth so little to you?

Its funny you say people value their pixel crack so high when scrip has no value to begin with. There are people that are siting on 15+ million scrip, you really think they care about scrip?

Its funny how people will complain at the price people value whats worth to them, but they don't complain about a box siting in the vendor that costs 1million scrip that is the equivalent of a t4 box, only difference is no jackpot and a chance at a suit. Most people that sell their nades for so cheap is because 1. they already have full sets of them, 2. dont know their worth, or 3. are just generous. If I didn't have as much scrip as I actually do, then I would be selling some things a lot higher then what I do sell them for because i know they are capable of selling that high.

its amazing how cheep people will go. with an item that cost dubble or even tripple what thy think its worth.

thats why people ask for info here on the forums. like the OP did. so thy know the going prices thy can ask. and the prices that some will give them fore.

hell. if i saw someone lowballing there own item. i eather tell them. or i buy it off them and sell it for the real price a few days latter when there not on chat anymore.

People that are looking for it are looking for it for the pursuit and PvE.
But yeah your right next time I sell one I will Jack the price up 10 to 20 fold of it's actual worth and look for a PvP sucker to sell it to them.

Uhm.... next time i try to purchase anything in the zone channel i will put it like this "PVEr WTB [insert the items names here]" maybe that way i wont get people asking for ridiculous prices Really, among all the bad things PVP brings to any PVE+PVP game, inflation is always on top of the list

Actually, the people looking to buy OJ nades usually only go for OJ Frags if it is for pvp. Why would you use a frag in pve when bio or shrill hold more significance ? Or a crimefighter, or boomer do the exact same thing but about 10x better. It's funny you say pvp is such a "minority subset" and its importance is minimal at best. Really? Is this a joke? I can understand something among those lines coming from someone who sucks at pvp or just doesnt pvp in games but to say its minimal subset is absurd. Please tell me what there is to do at 5900 ego? Arkfalls? Incursions? Things you've already done 400 thousand times playing the game? The side things on the roads that you only did because it was near the starting area or you needed it for a few pursuits?

That gets pretty damn boring after 5 minutes to I'm pretty sure, well anyone. You are max ego, what is the point of doing any side mission or incursion other to help a friend or clannie out? Exactly, there isn't. Unless you are one of those people that enjoy doing the same repetitive thing over and over again, you will realize that pvp is the end game of this game. Look at any other MMO. Tell me what the end game is of them.
What comes to mind?

PvP and Raids/dungeons.

What raids do we have in this game? WM? Nonono thats not a raid, that's a joke if it is considered one.
Dungeons? Lets be real, no one does those unless you need the weekly/daily, or helping someone who does.
And that leaves us with what? PVP.

So if the end game mechanic is such a "minimal subset" what is there to do at end game for you? Because I'm trying to think and if it is to do the same repetitive arkfalls and stuff over and over again, then i dont know what the point of playing this game is anymore.

You are focusing on literally PVE alone, and I dont even know why weapon rolls exist if this game is PVE only in your mind. I mean really. The pve in this game isnt great and as much as I love this game, I'm not tunnel visioned enough to realize that it is bad. The score doesnt go off of how much damage you do, the drops dont go off of how much damage you do, you can literally walk into the circle, shoot one bullet, and stand in that event till it ends and get one of the best drops possible, and the person siting there doing 400x the damage you are, and ranks 1st in the event gets blues and greens. Yeah, fun. But I mean that OJ shrill grenade you used really serves a purpose right?

Again, the oj nades are worth more. If jackpots sell for over a million scrip, then so should a weapon with lower chances. Your logic doesnt make sense if you disagree. That's like saying a rad canonner needler is worth 50,000 scrip. Some people would be willing to throw 15 million scrip at that weapon. But i mean, according to you, its pve, so who cares.

(This post applies to people who aren't extreme casual players and play 30 minutes a day, this applies to people that play 2-3 hours and more each day, it applies to the people that once you did your weekly and daily, and then continue to play hours after all that is done, and no the event arkfalls do not count.)
