I've seen the calling bird go for between 500k and 1.5 million. I traded a Reckoning straight across to get my calling Bird. And I sold a purple Radiant Solstice Nano Fragger (ego 1200) for 600k. Hovewer it does depend on the market. And I don't pay attention to what stuff is actually worth most of the time.

That happens a lot on Xbox too. I was looking for a gun. A seller said he had 2 versions and he gave set prices for both. I agreed and jumped to him. I sent a trade invite that he accepted. Then he canceled it, and when I asked why he said he sold the first gun for higher, then gave a new price for gun 2. I agreed and sent an invite. Once again he accepted then cancelled, and once again gave me the same reason when asked.

I am fine with bidding, but say you are taking bids. And if somebody specifically asks for a piece of gear and you offer it to them for a price that you set, then do not screw them over by accepting a secret bid on that gear AFTER you promised it to the first guy that asked for it!

Neoprime, I agree with getting an idea of what the community says the gear is worth, however it is ultimately up to what you want, since it is your gear to sell. My advice is to take a few things into account.

1: The availability of the gear being sold. (in this case we seem to be talking about special event gear so it is limited, and even more so once the event in question is over for the year.)

2: Community opinion.

3: how much buyers are willing to spend

4: how much you want and how much you are actually willing to take.

5:Wether you want to be known as a cheap seller, a fair seller, or a cutthroat.

Honestly I fluctuate between cheap and fair. I normally sell for what I believe is a fair price. However I do only have 86 inventory on my main and 81 on my others, so if I NEED more space right away then I sometimes sell for cheap. I gave away 3 legendary guns and a purple shield to the first low ego I saw in-game on Christmas day, just because I needed the space. I probably gave away another 15 pieces of purple gear later that night, for the same reason. I even sold an OJ tachyon IV shield for 20k just because I needed space. The only shield I have (and don't use) that I will not sell for cheap is a Hurricane blastproof ARK since they are so rare and hard to get.

Thanks batman. I was thinking quite a bit of the same stuff. I actually do give away blues and epics all the time,when i add to the post there will be quite a few free ones. hell when the game was newer, the most i ever charged for a good purp shield was 5k. And thats vendor price back then. Some guy in game last night was trying to tell me the dc4 wasnt worth much and that everyones scrapping them, lol. Then he chased me in chat for a while trying to get me to sell it to him at a low ball final offer of 200k. I wasnt taking that. Though the dc4 seems to be more common, its a named weap. Im pretty sure he didnt know ive been on the coaster since beta. Probably thought i was a new player cos i was on a lower ego toon. I finally just dashboarded out. Its still in my claims right now anyway. I have 3 days left on the timer so i figure ill wait to pull it till i get to as high an ego i can before it gets toward zero.
TBH for the dc4, id rather not take scrip for it and just use it as part of a trade towards a dc8 or dc9. Im a pulser guy. I know alot of ppl dont even want the scrip anymore.

Anyway, im updating the post untill i get everything ready and up. Appreciate the input

Yep, ive been seeing the dc9 go for 1 and 1.5. The pulsers my fav weapon. And with the right perks, and good rolls,its fierce. I like the reg ones over the tachmags.

If the weapons are in your claims take it out on your high ego toon, the higher ego will attract a lot more buyers as it's cheaper to lower it. As for the rest I agree with Batty.
