I've had a couple of instances where my character was rolled back after a disconnect, though so far they have all been very minor. Once I had to redistribute my EGO points after a mid-respec disconnect, which took me all of 20 seconds to do. Considering that's the worst I've had during the amount of time I've spent with the game so far (~20 hours or so), I'd say the game is 'safe' to play on PS3.

Yeah those minor ones are lag outs from you to the server client still doing things but the server not recording it. you get those sometimes hehe

Problem: loss of stuff when server goes down.
Solution: read the chat feed, don't be on when it goes down.

As far as D/Cs.. it happens to be a fact of life, temporary Alzheimers.. so to speak.

I get a little pissed when I crash, who honestly don't? But, servers are over loaded in my opinion.
This issue will weed itself out in a week or so.

Well, just got the 'Critical' warning again after getting booted and trying to reconnect. Last night when it happened, I lost progress and I've put in a few hours today already (up to 302 in EGO) so I'm hoping it's not a repeat :| I'm about at where the main missions ended in the beta so I'll be pissed if I have to do it over again.

A few times after turning off my PS3, it'll beep before doing so. Might just start exiting to the XMB cause it seems to only do it when I'm still in Defiance and shut down =\ I've had a PS3 die on me already so I'm kind of paranoid about the whole thing.
