    EGO Level and item stats[?]

Just wondering, what does actually change in item / weapon stats with ego levels?

So far in the first 200 EGO levels, i've not noticed really anything changing. Damage, reload, mag size etc. seem to determinated simply by the version of the weapon. For example the VBI bolt-action sniper rifle seem to always have that 1200 something damage, low magazine size and low rate of fire, while the VOT version got faster rate of fire, bigger mag, and 1000 something damage.

When it comes to rarity, it seems to affect the weapon bonuses itself. Green seem to always have one, blue 2, purple gets synergy set totaling 3 and orange i don't know as i've only looted one that i disassembled as it was not my type of weapon ^_^

So i'm asking, what is the difference between 5000 and 1 EGO level guns? Or is there actually none? Also, are the weapon bonuses fully random, or can certain weapons have only certain bonuses?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

I would also like to know if there is a difference in stats between a high or low ego level.

At least, you can't use high level ego character to farm or sell items to low level ego players.
By using this kind of limitation, they prevent some cases of RTM and overpowered twinked low level characters.

There isn't really a difference in the early levels. I know that shield's increase as the EGO level rises.

As for higher level EGO weapons, the Experience amount to level the weapon increases. I'm not 100% sure because I'm only 450.

Variations of weapon types seem to be cropping up. Weapons with different projectiles etc. Weapon slots seem to be based on EGO level. My 300-450 weapons have 2 mod slots while weapons < 300 have 1 mod slot.

I wouldn't expect the weapon damage to change much since this is a skill based shooter. Mods values might change a little.

Again, not 100% sure. We will need a max level to chime in... which probably wont be for a while... since that's ~4000 EGO? EGO Evolution 6 lists EGO Rating 4000 as the goal.

This question keep getting asked. There are 5000 "levels". The difference between an ego 100 and ego 200 weapon is small. It should be. However, they are in fact noticeable. The rarity can affect a lot of things (already open mod slots, nano effects, boosted stats/modifiers, etc).

All that being said.. this isn't a gear driven game, your skill will be a lot bigger of a pay-off.

I agree and disagree. There is a huge difference in performance between a white and a orange item.
Agree with what you say, skills > gear.
