Connection to Defiance servers has timed out?

Yep still unable to connect. 2 days here. Another eve cant play. Friend can play and i cant. Book (uk)

So, how do you fix this problem?

We had this problem until 10 minutes ago! After trying everything with no success this did it for us but your router/internet company may vary.

1. Find your router IP address, our router is an Arris/Xfinity and 10.0.0.1 worked for us but you can look online for your routers IP or you can go to your PC start menu and type, cmd and then enter then type, ipconfig and enter and your IP should show.

2. Take your IP address and open your internet and type the address into the address bar and enter. It should open your router and ask for your username and password. Unless you have changed them in the past the defaults are usually, admin/admin or admin/1234 but you can look online for your specific routers.

3. Once you have access select the firewall and lower the protection to LOW and then look for port forwarding, for our router in was under ADVANCED, Port Forwarding, and change it to enable from enable.

Then close out and try Defiance again. I hope this works for you, we were extremely frustrated until just a few minutes ago and we wanted to share with others like us. Good luck

The last patch ruined Defiance for me.... I can't do anything. Server Disconnects every 2 minutes and when I don't dc, I heavily lag...causing me to lose a race or die....

All over a useless patch to fix 1 pursuit.

So, how do you fix this problem?

You don't i have played this game a fair bit and im ego 2300 but i got the dlc and since then i have had 1 week of not being able to play because by myself i get half way threw something and with others i cant even switch weapons it has happened every day for a week and i hate it but there is no fix and there is nothing you can do, i hate to tell u to stop playing but it maybe the only way to really get trion to do something about the lag.
