    Vehicle Stats Lying?

Has this happened to anyone else? I bought a Duni under the impression that it had the same speed as my Dodge but with better boost stuff. But once I bought it, all of those stats went down making it worse than my Dodge. The upside? The Duni doesn't sound like a jekking 18 wheeler when I drive it like the Dodge does and I like the look of it a little better.

Had the same thing. I bought a New Quad that showed better stats in the Store.

Then, when I dropped over 5k crips to buy it... all stats went Down to the same Level as the Quad I already had! /Facepalm

I really hope this is just a Visual bug in the character load out screen! Otherwise I really feel ripped off!

You think 5K is bad? The Duni I bought was a little over 15K! Now I only have around 2K left.

yea i wasted 10,500 scrip on a runner because the stats lied, then i found the buggy vendor but was broke because i had wasted money on a useless runner

i think the stats it must list are the max stats for the vehicle when it is fully upgraded, which is just ******ed since it doesnt say so.

I think what's happening is that the stats of the vehicle in the vendor window are showing the stats of the car + whatever bonuses you've unlocked for that type of vehicle. It'd be pretty easy to find out too, check the stats for the Duni, write down the values, and then the next time you get a speed/boost/damage upgrade unlocked, go back and check it again and compare.

It doesn't make sense! Why do we have the compare feature in the first Place huh?

So when we want to buy a New item, we can compare it With the item we currently have and see if the New item is a worthy Upgrade!

So when you compare the vehicle in the shop With the one I have and I see the vehicle in the shop has better stats! Then I EXPECT that vehichle to have better stats when I equip it after purchase and not be downgraded to the same stats of the vehicle I already had!

Total bull... and needs to be fixed!

Speaking of comparing, I haven't seen that option in vendors, I remember it was in the Beta though.

I haven't been able to get the "Compare" feature to work on vehicles in the merchant window AT ALL. I can compare AFTER I bought it, but not before I buy it.

It's most definitely a bug. It's supposed to show the base stats of the item, not the up-scaled ones with all the bonuses that you have.
