Where do I start?? Where is the supposed co-op? Tried to play with my friend. But we couldn't stay together. Then the severs quit and I couldn't reconnect back to the game. Put in redeem code. Didnt get crap. Tried to link my account. And the code won't work. Did they do anything right? Not that I know of. Beginning to regret buying this game. Will things improve and will I get compensated? Somehow I doubt it.

Ok a couple things:
1. Co-op is unlocked after completing several of the Story line quests, you then have to go into matchmaking to access them(they are not open world accessible, I know sad).
2. The servers are a little unstable right now, remember this is the 1st week of release, as all MMO's go through, even through the stress test in open beta, They cannot figure how largely popular their game will be.
3. The Ark code items are given to you after connecting your account and using the code in your box, you then have to restart the game by going back into your XMB not by logging out to main menu.

Hopefully this helps you, I know its a little frustrating, but remember this style of game comes with some glitches, but the dev team is on top of everything, make sure that when you come across a bug or glitch, to send the dev team an email or search the forums for a thread and add your solution or issue(remember to be honest and not to flame the company, they are doing their best to find solutions)

If you're trying to group to do missions and open world stuff, invite him to group, then using the group menu (left ctrl for pc I think) highlight your friend and use go to friend and/or join phase. If you redeem a code while logged in, you won't get the stuff until you relog.
