Detonator's and RPG not ranking up.

I posted this as a bug report, but I'm not sure if I'm the only one. The Rocket launcher's and Detonator's are not ranking up as I use them. The white bar below the weapon never moves, and my skill bar is still at the beginning. Anyone else experiencing this, cause it really sucks that I've used both of them and are just figuring this out now.


-Second question that's bugging me, but don't feel like creating a new thread for just this. So maybe some of you know or can explain:
What exactly is synergy in this game? Found my first legendary weapon yesterday and it says: [Synergy:Veteran [2] +10% rate of fire after a full reload.] Not quiet sure what veteran status means and the [2]?

Since "Veteran" is one of the "classes" in the game I'm assuming it means that if you are that class wielding that weapon you will get the bonus applied to you.

It's this game's version of a set bonus. It means that if you have two 'Veteran' mods on the same weapon then you'll get the corresponding bonus.
