I have to believe that others were experiencing this... just havent seen it noted on the forums yet

Last night during the thick of the problems, maybe an hour or so prior to the series of server crashes. I'd jump in on an arkfall or roadside challenge, only to get barraged with Archer pods/goo (which were not present/visible). I'd run off barrel-rolling to safety, but even at a point where I was FAR out of sight, damage kept accrueing.

Eventually, it would kill me, forcing me to Rez myself, but the damage would suddenly start again. Starting with the goo animation, then regular damage, then the blood on the screen. I teleport back to a Spawn point, and the process would suddenly begin again, keeping me in a loop, and sucking my scrip supply dry.

At the time, I was unable to pause/go to menu, in order to log out, and eventually had to go to Dashboard before I lost all my money. Must have died 9-10 times before biting the bullet and quitting out.

Anyone else get caught in the death-loop?
