    Removing Mods from Orange Weps?

Hello, I was messing with my weapons and their mods when I noticed that I can remove the mods from any wep I own except the orange text ones. Was this intended? Are my white mods now stuck in the rarest gun I've ever found? How come I was not warned that I would be unable to remove these?

^These are questions someone shouldn't have to ask btw. Information like this needs to be out there...but google has failed me so I have come here!

Has anyone been able to remove mods from orange weps? The option appears for everything else but orange. : /

Edit: Solved! --> See post below for solution.

Did you remember to unequip your weapons? You can only remove or add mod slots if they are out of your equipped slots of any of your loadouts because it uses the timer function.

Wish they would just grey out the options and tell me WHY I cant use that feature....instead of telling me "NO OPTIONS AVAILABLE LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL FIGURE IT OUT"

I'll give it a try, thanks.

    Edit: Thanks! It worked!

Just a warning, retrieving mods destroys the weapons but you get the mods back, and removing the mods destroys the mods but you keep the weapon. Something to think about..

Would've been good to know last night when I destroyed a good electrical combat shotgun with full auto capability... sigh. Now I only have an acid full auto pump shotgun which takes forever to load and half a second to empty 10 rounds

They need to make it so we can removed one mod at a time. Pretty lame that we have to destroy EVERY mod...

Not to mention the RIDICULOUS price to remove the mods.

Also I think it's EGO related, I've noticed that I could add mod slots to my brand new Votan Sniper only once, and then when I hit E500 it allowed me to do the final.
