Trion should be ashamed at the pitifully small quantity of content in the game. Considering you charged 60 bucks for it and are asking for DLC dollars up front.

Still more content than the majority of games that cost the same price, plus the free DLC that'll be coming if you'd be patient enough to wait for the show to start..
Is there free DLC? Because honestly I agree the content is incredibly lacking. I thought they wanted us to buy season passes for DLC.
More like shameful amount of impatience. Many gamers these days always burn through content without taking the time to actually enjoy the game, then whine when they feel they are bored and wonder why.
As I understand it, there will be content coming as the show airs - since they tie together, they can't reveal quests today that might interfere/spoil what's happening on the show next week. Not sure how much of course.
For the paid DLC - the areas on the map will be open to all, only the quests and instances will be restricted, from what I remember, possibly any new races/items as well.
Lack of content huh ..so your ego 5k already ? fMaxed all your skills and so on sporting all orange gear and stuff. Not likely even when you get maxed you got pvp and co op and random stuff where you might find something you havent seen before. Is more to this game then the main story ark or even the side missions.
That's quite the generalization. You need to look at things with a critical eye if you ever want things to improve. As someone who has played every major mmo since Ultima Online, and alpha tested most Defiance is one of the worst I've experienced. Honestly the launch reminds me alot of Anarchy Online, and Age of Conan in the content department. I really like the game at it's core but I wish they would have fleshed it out more before releasing. The unfortune truth is, it looks they pushed to get it out at the same time as the show, and it's going to hurt them quite badly.
The other issue the game has is not being cross platform, I think that was a major let down. They should have just dropped it on either Xbox or PS3, and made it exclusive to one console then merge the PC/Console servers. This is what Final Fantasy XIV is doing because of Microsofts ********. Anyway I hope the show is an incredible success, that could potentionally breathe more life into the game so long as we get more polish and content very quickly.
