a massive grind is why most MMORPGs feel like they have more content, they just integrate it into the quest chain

**lol** It could be worse.. during the next patch, they could fix this by changing the skins of HellBugs.

Oh no! It's the ever dreaded Blue Hellbug.. and ummm... the Green Hellbug!

Not good enough for ya? Well ummm.. what if we pulled a London Hellgate and made the same mobs DOUBLE THE SIZE!!

Now quit your yappin, and go collect clickies for random side quests!

Honestly the launch reminds me alot of Anarchy Online, and Age of Conan in the content department. I really like the game at it's core but I wish they would have fleshed it out more before releasing. The unfortune truth is, it looks they pushed to get it out at the same time as the show, and it's going to hurt them quite badly.

The other issue the game has is not being cross platform, I think that was a major let down. They should have just dropped it on either Xbox or PS3, and made it exclusive to one console then merge the PC/Console servers. This is what Final Fantasy XIV is doing because of Microsofts ********. Anyway I hope the show is an incredible success, that could potentionally breathe more life into the game so long as we get more polish and content very quickly.
I had no problems at launch, what were you supposed problems? Everything has gone swimmingly for me.

Making something crossplatform is a lot harder than you think it is. Why do you think it's never been done before? For one PC players would destroy the console players in thing like PvP, it would just make it unfair. The PS4 and new Xbox are also just around the corner so why pair up an outdated device on terrible hardware that won't be supported much longer?

The game was designed to run on one server across all platforms, this is how it was shown at every convention. The only reason it isn't now is due to legal bickering between Microsoft and Sony as they do not want to play nice.

Also never been done before? Final Fantasy XI did it 6 years ago.

I agree whole heartedly! In my opinion, the underlying major problem with this game is enemy level progression: there is none. In most other MMO's, there are areas where you do NOT want to go into if you are not a high enough level. You gain levels to get better gear to be able to fight tougher fights.

You don't see that in this game. I can go anywhere on the map. I can go participate in one of the big Arkfall events coming right out of the tutorial. The only thing I see level progression for is getting new perks and better items which, although they are novel, are not really necessary.

You have not really stopped to think this through have you? This game is suppose to be linked to the show, now let's stop for a second and think about this. You're arguing about area's of the map needing to be locked? And enemies that need a big red sign over their heads?

When the show releases, the main chars won't be have those limits placed upon them. They may well end up going up head to head with some real nasty chars in some really tough places. I personally think this one thing should be left alone. It will give the feel of being more closely linked to the show and when you got roughly thirty to fifty people taking on a Arkfall, do you really need to worry about it's level?

There was no need for a comma.

Whats shamefull is the gamers that are rushing to through the core story and thinking there even close to done. Do the side quest, co-op's, challenges, rampages, and watch how additional quest open up as you progress if you do it properly. The problem for these kinds of players is there not restricted from going deeper into the game by arbitrary levels like other MMO's so they skip 90% of the content then go wheres the content so ironic. I'm EGO 409 as of last night and I've only managed to finish the upper half of the first zone. Playing nearly 10 hrs a day I have enough content without seeing additional DLC/Episode content added to go for a month plus easily playing way more then a casual player does.
