I've never seen an orange shield, what special stats did it have?

I didn't notice any special stats. I'm pretty sure it was orange though. I'll check again when I get off work.

Got a instant detonator, out of my first t4 box, with bonuses to outlaw background (i think like +5% dmg to the last round of the clip). 800dmg, nothing too amazing.

Had two oranges so far, LMG with incendiary rounds and a funky guided rocket launcher with 10% ego recharge on full reload, totally badass with Overcharge!

i have found 3 orange 4 purple's so far, and i don't need any of them.. i use LMG + Sniper i'm buying Tier 3 boxes

oh yeah they have their Synergies as survivalist and Machinist, do these bonuses only apply to those origins?

Also have about 7 Purples, although none are that good, one is an amazing rocket launcher and an awesome semi auto rifle.

Synergies only apply to themselves and are not locked to a class of character. So if you have a weapon with Synergies on it. You will see a number next to the name of the type of synergy for example Survivalist and what benefit it gives. If the number is 2 you will have to have equipped 2 Survivalist Synergy equipped weapons on your character in the active used weapon slots. If you have one that also has 4 next to it - in order for that benefit you would have to have 4 Survivalist Synergy weapons equipped etc.
