Forced storyline?

You have to complete the story to get across the golden gate bridge? How lame is that? I've been trying to do all the time trials to get the black challenger and of course theres a giant damn robot in my way. so now i have to play a story I don't want to play. Even when I started playing I had no interest in completing the story. The idea of me and 1209480129840984980 other people on the server being the main hero seems stupid to me, and is also the way of other failed mmos (conan, star wars old republic probably some other crap mmo i haven't played) I despise Cass and the Lawman and I would have febreezed them with my SMG within 5 minutes of meeting them if I had the option. Not only is the story forced you also have no decisions to make within the storyline. I didnt sign up for a roller coaster ride. I hope in future updates they will make the game more sandboxy and not make me do a story. Im having way more fun mowing down hellbugs in my challenger and doing arkfalls and random events. Please in future updates add more content like vehicles, weapons, and outfits more random events and arkfall stuff. If the expansions force you to play a story this game goin on teh shelf for sure.

Actually no I didn't. I knew there was going to be a story but I thought it would be optional.

Then you might as well shelf it because doing the story is part of the game. And yeah you did sign up for a "roller coaster ride" helps to read about the game first LOL. Think thats even in one of the adds it is.

Yea i probably will shelf this game. Its gonna fail hard against destiny anyway. Have fun playing a shooter from ten years ago.

The story missions aren't forced, you don't have to do them but then at the same time once you pick one up, you do feel compelled to finish it. Though I think the devs took this into cosideration and made it so that even if you die multiple times, it only costs 160 scrip to extract and you can try infinate times without having to restart from outside the mission.

You don't have to do the story. You can just drive around doing side missions and arkfalls. Or you can stare at the sky.
