This 15% perk is great for the Crimefighter since it shoots grenades. Not to mention the Fire nano.

And that is the crux of the drama surrounding the crimefighter: PCs can take them in stride but the consoles struggle and choke. The visibility issues, annoying as they are, are secondary and are being fixed anyway.

Most modern PCs can handle crimefighters with little or no problem because they are general purpose machines and the makers tend to oversize things slightly so the machines do not bog on multiple applications running at once.

The physics subsystem especially has been getting more powerful lately due to the usefulness of it as a high speed processor for other things using CUDA or the equivalent. On top of that the typical "gamer" PC with its advanced video card has even more physics power to burn and that is probably what the game is developed and tested on.

Consoles, as dedicated machines, are not usually designed to run multiple applications and are supposed to be "lean, mean, gaming machines". It used to be that they could take better advantage of advances in CPU and graphics chipsets because they had fewer legacy constraints and could use new advanced architectures while the PC was chained to the x86 style of its distant past.

Now however the chipset market is less diverse, most new things come out for the x86xx or ARM based markets so the consoles cannot keep ahead in that way (though it might be possible to do something with massively parallel ARM designs in the future).

The "lean" part of the console design is a big disadvantage in this case since they use the physics power that was considered ideal for the kind of games they were designing it for and MMOs like Defiance with its bouncy in 3D projectiles and cloth effects have been pushing physics faster than model rendering, texturing, and shading and whatnot which were the big things a few years ago.

It also does not help that consoles are monolithic for the most part so they are not easy for the user to upgrade (if they can be at all) to keep up with a shift in trends like that.

I don't use them but it prevents other people from lagging me out.

Even spamming it seldom depletes the mag if there are enough enemies in the area to be killed by rebounds. I have Mad Bomber and Shock Trooper ego perks equipped. These constantly replenish my mag. With a normal size mag..these %'s wouldn't add up enough to compensate for your fire rate. But, it seems at 20 or more....it does very well. Here's a video of me purging Motherload coop map with it. I'd like your thoughts on the matter.
I suggest only using Mad Bomber since with a mag size of 20 it returns 3 rounds per kill and RNG can work against you with Shock Trooper. There's nothing worthwhile in the Defiant Few synergy so you can just throw all Legendary mods in it. A downside is that yours is Bio nano, it doesn't deal as much damage as fire and any self explosions will result in the immediate loss of your own armor plates. You might want to do some training with it so you can hit enemies more reliably. Here's a pic of my current CF and welcome to the club.

    This is mine:

Its nice for spamming at red dots and getting kills while also healing me so much I don't die.

Someone had like a 31 rd CF and it appeared as if they never reloaded. There was only a very slight stagger then they would start firing again.

I often find I'm not having to reload with my Noobtube.
So I changed from extra ammo to fire damage. (Just to try it out). I'm hoping to drop a defiant electric ammo mod too, one day, and try that.

Unfortunately the colour of shot is still green. I was hoping for it to change to fireballs!

I found that going from an 8 round magazine to a 7 round magazine wasn't a noticeable change.
