Thread: Goodbye

If you were estimating a move, and it took 4 days longer for you movers to do the job you would be frothing at the mouth. But then again your bill would be over 5 grand. I do see the guy has some points I might take it back giving it one more day.

One thing to consider about giving slack to MMO developers is that testing and running a scenario inside of a closed off single-player environment is incredibly easy compared to having anywhere from 1-500 people show up and fudge things up. You can only test so many things in beta and Alpha's before you just have to commit to going live and seeing how it works when EVERYONE runs at it.

Think of the bugs in single-player games out there? Also, think of alot of games that are simply just remakes and clones of the last one without any real significant changes. It makes it much easier when you have a base platform and engine for a game to just add some content like an expansion pack and charge full price(CoD, ect).

Your analogy also only works to a certain extent as you did not hire Trion Worlds to provide a specified product for yourself. You purchased the product they offered.

You should wait and give it a shot. Continue playing. Form some friendships with people online and ignore the ones that are rude. The difference between this MMO and a Singleplayer you might enjoy is that content will continually be added to this game, unlike most of the singleplayers.

I really don't get people who do NOT research a game or what it is (the information is out there, not very hard to find) then complain and say they are going to return it. And why bother posting this? If you don't like the game, oh well. Good luck returning it as a lot of retailers WILL NOT refund a software product once opened, especially one that has a one time use code and can be played without the actual discs. Although this is america, just complain enough and i suppose you'll get what you want. Why should any of us be responsible for how we spend our money...

so, don't return the game, (is the return policy even valid with a open game?) take the game, take it out of your console, and don't play until the show starts, in 2 weeks, yo know you wont miss content, since theirs no new content until teh show anyways, play some gears overrun, or some halo 4 spartan op, hell, drop some zombies in cod or dead island, or take a break from games all together, read a book, if you into good book the librabry is full of awesome books, watch some movies, gi joe came out.

hell, enjoy some real life application that are similer to what the game has, want to shoot a sniper rifle, pick up a mosin nagant and blast some rounds off, (it kicks like a mule and acts like the manual sniper rifles in game) wait till you see a 1 gallon water jug implode, go camping, fishing, man up and try some snow melt swimming, there are multiple things you can do until the bugs get hammer flat, history channel has the vikings show, and game of thrones just restarted, come back in a few weeks, and then check out the game, you already know you enjoy the gameplay, don't treat it like a now release mmo, treat it like it doesn't get release until teh 15th with the show.

Is this the console version? Because the PC version, while not a seamless launch, is far better than many MMO releases.

Within a week or so most of the more major bugs will be taken care of. The issue of not being able to log in and any crashes will be fixed. If you enjoy it stick with it cause before you know it you'll be playing with no problems.

MMORPGs are well known to have problems launch week, so give them time to get it taken care of. Heck MMORPGs that's been out for years will have problems from time to time and those companies fixes it.

I unlike most people WILL NOT leave this game. I have endured, the military, ex wife, wife, and 3 kids, and 23 years in the same profession. I like Pain and Disappointment.
