    Gambling bits in Competitive PvP?

    Good Evening All,

I was daydreaming during a project meeting in work and suddenly had an idea around betting bits in competitive PvP. As this is a game where Ego rating is not the same as level per-se (where in other games lvl 99 consistently beats lower levels) one could argue an individual with an Ego rating of 100 vs. 500 has an equal chance of placing high in a leaderboard.

You could bet on taking a certain number of objectives in Shadow War for instance.

    Thoughts?

I mean people could wager scrip.. but that's getting everyone to agree to it bla bla bla.

I'm guessing you could get a group of 4 and have the bet placed within the group that X player will finish higher than the others.. everyone tosses in 1k scrip and whoever places highest on the leaderboard takes the pot.

right now with the way PVP works...i rarely find myself playing. Shadowar is almost unplayable at times due to frame rate issues. i've played maybe 8 games of shadow war and every game was barely tolorable due to the 20ish FPS i was getting.

only prob I have with either game mode is the amount of scrubs using cloak and shotgun and point blank range.

haha yeah i countered that with my clusterblast shotgun haha!! I'll play a cpl games a week but i didn't buy this game for it's PvP. I wanted the PvE roaming world and stuff to just sit back and relax while i play.

    Nope...

it will never happen, ill explain why. you purchased the game for 60 dollars. this includes the game and everything that's in it. so technically all the scrip that you gain and use costs real world money. there are to many federal and state laws that will never allow this to happen. it takes me back though to the 90's when kids were "gambling" pokemon trading cards. I still remember some news stories about law enforcement cracking down on it because technically they were gambling with something that was paid for with real money. no different than the chip system a casino uses.
