Great guide! You should consider adding this info (and the info in the links posted in replies) to the official Defiance Wiki page. Currently it's pretty bland and lacks information that this guide contains.

4. WHEN SHOOTING THE ARKFALL CRYSTALS - hit crystal deal little damage. Hit yellow spot on bubble deal moderate damage hit orange area around yellow do massive damage and both bubble shots get numbers in yellow like a crit.

May also want to add not to shoot the small bugs at these Arkfalls, as they add the weak spots to the crystals.

Something I mentioned in another thread. You could have a mission where you have to take out 3 or so objectives, maybe bombing some trucks or something. Both your mini and your big map will show markers for each of the objectives. But when you take one of the objectives out all them might still show on the mini map, but the big map will only show the remaining objectives and the ones completed are removed on it. So you can right click a remaining objective on the big map and create a waypoint. Then on the mini map it will show that objective with a pink marker and a path to it. That helps find the next objective when one still being shown on the mini map no longer exists.

There was mention of gaining faction with a list of the different factions. Now I see the various faction vendors listing items that cost faction point plus scrip.

I know how to make scrip, my question is how or where do I get faction based missions?

You're right, though those crits are very weak compared to the ones you get from shooting them in the mouth.

OK ranking of weapons/shields by color

White
Green
Blue
Purple
Orange

so far i think the only legendary weapon i have gotten is a purple. Also If anyone knows i really dont know if color is just rarity or if it has to do with stats.
