How many people did we lose to Destiny?

Lost me for awhile. But the call of the bay is too hard to resist. (Destiny was visually great, but bungie(or activision) completely killed thier game) they still cant get the rewards system or upgrade system right.

All in all, i cant even touch destiny anymore. Except when its to do tricks on my sparrow

The pvp in destiny is tolerable imo.

Im not a hater. I bought my ghost edition for the goodies, and tried REALLY HARD to give destiny a fair shot. I tried to like it. But when you have to try to like something, its usually a bad thing. Ill give it another go when house of wolves comes out since i have the exp pass. But not if i have to pick and choose, or start over upgrading weaps and everything becomes useless the day it drops like dark below did. I hadnt even gotten to play VOG before it became obsolete(theyve given thier best to rectify that now*) and there may be a point to it again.

Im not mad that bungie is breaking things with thier patches, or having to patch things theyve broken from the start. Im not forgetting defiances launch,lol. But defiance was fun to play even throuh the crap. Destiny falls short of bieng worth it "to me" after playing defiance, borderlands, diablo, and any other game with loot systems. Its just not standing above the rest for me, and i have limited time to play games these days.

Power to the ppl who get genuine enjoyment from destiny. I can respect and applaud that. I mean, every game out there has an audience that gets hit with the crosshairs perfectly.

The big, active clan I was in when I first started suddenly emptied out in late August due to the arkforge nerf and Warmaster drama back then. Nowadays there might be a handful of clanmates online at once on busy days. They did not go to Destiny for the most part though since most were PC players, they dispersed into the Steam cloud instead.

Hey guys, didn't know about Lucent, that really sucks they did that. I got about 5 months of play in Destiny before I hit a wall and it started to be a grind fest. Overall it is a good game, just the direction they took it in was not what was promoted and they lost their lead story line writer so the campaign mode was confusing.

Going to hang around Defiance to see what kind of drama can keep me sustained, sucks to hear about trick leaving.

Honestly I think Trick leaving was inevitable anyway. I believe LoCarb is a huge step in the right direction. I didn't hate Trick, but that blog post labeling keepers as trolls showed a big disconnect between the players and devs. Him not addressing it caused me to lose all respect for the guy. I think LoCarb will begin to bridge the gap, heck he already has with the holiday events.

i played destiny for quite awhile,its just not Fun.
plus ive never seen such a mucked up bunch of devs,which is amazing considering its bungie.....
at least here theres some communication and real interaction.

just by accident i found this game,and now me and my friends are playing it and have Fun.
sometimes even driving around goofing off is fun,and this game has some great terrain.
be even cooler if you could do backflips with the mongooses.
we sure could use our xbox codes to work tho,for storage slots n all that...
but overall,weve already had more fun with this game than we ever did with destiny.

Was this the Warmaster livestream where it appeared that he decided to shoot an arm while the rest of the raid went for the back? I get that it is hard to fight and talk, but I was surprised at that one. Although around that time we got the health displays on the armor locations which made a big difference in what people targeted.

Yes, think it was around july. He had a rocket launcher and was shooting the arm while he was playing on the NA Pc server. He also got thrown into an already started instance.
