    Can you play defiance on a Mac? and if so can u download the beta for a mac system?

    Just wondering if defianc eis for a mac/OS system??

    From what I've read, no. Someone has said you should be able to play it through bootcamp on your mac though.

    I've only heard of bootcamp being able to, but thats a pain.

    I really hope/wish they'd put out a Mac OS version of the game. My girlfriend wants to play with me and our friends, but she's on Mac with no PC in the house. Boot Camp and/or Parallels are great options, but you have to own or purchase a copy of Windows. This creates a problem of adding to the overall cost of the game. Parallels (if you don't want to have to boot into windows seperately) costs $80 on it's own, then you have the cost of Windows ($30 at the cheapest if you can swing the student discounted version), and finally the actual cost of the game license. So at the very least my $50 game just became a cool $160 plus tax. This is not at all pleasant on my wallet!

    but the hughe development costs to port client for a mac isnt good for trions wallet nether.

    get Windows for the Mac, and that will open up the Mac to a crap ton more games as well, so it would not be that much money for just 1 game.
