Ok, time out. For all of you out there saying we should be appreciative or happy about this, you are tools. Yeah, I started playing FFXI on PS2 and then carried it over to the 360. They screwed up an update once and I couldn't get on for two weeks.

It is all well and good to post downtime info here so that when the server suddenly vanishes we can come here and find out why, but wouldn't it be nice to use some server messages.

They had a message on 360 saying "Update in an hour.", "Update in 30 minutes.", "Update in 10 mins." Then servers shutdown. It was in the bottom left of the screen I.e mini chat window
