I'm in the Gulf states region and it's 5:57 p.m. here. just finished the patching and installing for my Xbox 360 copy, still no service available, but I shall remain patient, remember when Diablo 3 came out? mass hysteria and no server space. just give it time guys. Keep up the great work, Admins!

Exactly I was irritated about 2 hrs of downloading and install this is icing on the cake if it is not up in a few minutes I am trading this game while I can.

It is all well and good to post downtime info here so that when the server suddenly vanishes we can come here and find out why, but wouldn't it be nice to use some server messages so those whoa reactively playing know it is coming? IF there were messages, please consider making them more visible/persistent.

They could've waited, but they had stated in the 'state of the game' that they had planned another update (this one) 16 hours from the time they posted it. Not to mention the emergency maintainence last night. Personally I'd rather it be now or as soon as possible, rather than waiting for when it's "convenient" for us players.

Plus, one may be a convenient time frame for NA folks wouldn't be for EU and other parts of the world.

All in all, they stated last night this was planned, and so it was, and I'm happy to see such updates coming now rather than later.

Trion is definitely doing a great job given all the issues the game has had pre- and post-launch.

Besides, what's one hour away from the game really going to hamper? It's an MMO, we're meant to savor and enjoy the game for a long time coming.

in all reality, they should focus more on the xbox servers than the rest, first MMO for the console, will have most bugs, focus focus focus

Sure it sucks that I can't play what I bought for and over half the time I have been playing I have also been doing downloading/patching/optimizing for 2 days, but give them the benefit of the doubt that MMO on consoles isn't exactly a walk in the park.

MMOs in general are probably one of the most difficult games to make. So many variables.

Ok, time out. For all of you out there saying we should be appreciative or happy about this, you are tools. It is people like you that are the reason business is allowed to operate the way it does in this country and around the world. Your telling me we should be happy to pay for a product we cant use? Your telling me we should appreciate the fact they should have already tested for all these bugs and STILL dont have the worked out. We should thank them for giving us a time frame then NOT holding too it. You people are insane! Go be passive-assertive somewhere else. I payed 150$ for this piece of junk and I expect to be able to use a product I pay for! If that doesnt bother you, there is something wrong with you!
