Also, for those of you who have no/limited experience with MMO's... you need to understand that even in today's age an MMO launch game will have numerous issues throughout the first week. I understand your frustration, but I'm willing to bet that Trion is about 1000000000000x more frustrated with unforeseen technical problems than you will ever be.

I'm sure they are. Especially the frustration of "Don't hate our baby just because we are trying to fix it for you!" I know the kinks will get worked out over time and all this server down time will pass, but it's sort of disappointing to see all the people knocking the game itself as a waste over launch issues.

Really? People are gonna cry cuz the server isn't exactly up in 30 minutes. At least they are working on patches asap instead of waiting for a week. It's a MMO issues arrive everyday. Be happy they are making efforts in enhancing our gameplay time.

Feels like the thousands of people who are complaining daily about this game (which is sad) are probably the ones who do nothing with their lives and play games all day. Do something productive and then play some defiance. Don't just wake up, try to log in, and then get upset, and write about how upset you are (Nobody cares)..Just have to understand that Defiance one of the first cross console MMOs. They have technical problems with the server, game, and other things but so what. Their patches and fixes will bring this game to it's highest potential soon enough. This is a learning curve for their first console game, and it may help other company's that decide to make console/pc mmo games in the future. Thanks Trion for such a great game.

People need to learn to be patient. As a computer engineering major I can say that any program you write will ALWAYS be buggy, no matter how well you planned, or how experienced you are. The more complex the program is, the longer it takes to fix. Brink was an awesome and fun game (parkour shooter), but the matches were laggy for the first two days and most of the people who bought the game returned it. I kept mine and waited for their fix, and I thoroughly enjoyed that game after.

Its not even just MMO's that crash. Remember the Halo2 Launch. lmao so much worse than this. Even well planed launches such as the burning crusade for wow had crashes, restarts and patches. Hang in there gammers
