Very excited about both options. Shadow war looked like good fun on the twitch stream.
I like the Arena. Not so much with the Shadow War though, I got killed multiple times by being chased by those damn mutants and getting sniped by someone when running away from them. Or when that 1 time when I went toe-toe with someone then got killed cause little spiders and mutants were attacking me at the same time.
Thats kind of what I like about it, even though you're engaged in a fight with other players, the npc's dont give a shiiii, they still attack, so you have to put them in to your battle strategy. I'm very interested to see how this will really effect the game.
Yea that's good but you could say I'm a suicide pvp-er. My tactics is pretty much charge into battle and kill as many people as possible before someone takes me out (Berserker more or less).. So having some npcs attacking you dwindling your life is annoying for me. Though I don't hate snipers even though there my most hated type of enemies.
HAHA is that a battle plan? =P I personally don't snipe, I tend to watch the flow of battle, then pick and choose my fights, hit and runs. As I type that out, kind of makes me feel cowardly. lol
I wouldn't call that a "battle plan" but it sort of works in Halo, COD and BF. Can get some kills although I'm never top - I am never in the bottom neither. This method however won't work for me in open areas and only in medium to short spaced areas.
