It seems this launch week is clearing out all the idiots, children, and CoD players. Good. More Defiance for me.

Why do people keep saying this is normal like its okay? I've played MMO's since Ultimate Online which was more than a decade ago. By now we should be able to have smooth starts on MMO's. yes I know technology changes, but gaming is the only product where people think its ok if the purchased product is not perfect. I'm not saying no issues, but multiple times a day the server being brought down is sub par by my standards. Rant on my post if you want, it's my opinion and I'm entitled to it.

Man, I can't even install a GFX card without having to first RMA it 3 times.

They're also doing this launch not only on Xbox 360 but also on the PS3 and PC and yes servers are brought down to fix the game in the launch week so I think you're lying when you say you've been playing MMOs for a decade. Also Ultimate Online is not a video game so nice try.

I'm new to the MMO world myself, but even I've had patience with this launch. MMO's have issues. Why cant people get that through their heads?
Because patience is something many lack sadly.
    My info is below!

    Character Name - Teeva

World of Warcraft, DC Online, Final Fantasy, Lotr, Swtor, Aion, Rift, and D3(not an mmo but constant online connection caused problems). Most of the problems were not fixed DAY ONE INSTANTLY.

Trion did something new and different with this game. It is the first time a game goes hand in hand with a TV show. They crossed multiple platforms knowing full well there were going to be issues. When you decided to buy this game you should have taking this into account. I almost cancelled getting it but bought it anyways knowing that there would be issues

It is time to grow up kiddos and get rid of your self entitlement! OMGz we spent cash do want we want. Trion is not sitting around, they are doing stuff. Chill, go outside, play with your gf/bf, pet the cat, eat some food, and relax.
Are you serious "kiddo"? I'm a LONG time MMO player and know exactly what to expect on DAY 1, but it's now DAY 3 and I still haven't even been able to connect to this game.. I have a lot of patience, and I didn't expect this to go smoothly, but I also didn't expect to stare at a connecting screen for 2 straight days..

I'm getting really sick of you people telling the ones that can't play to stop complaining.. Listen, if I wanted people to tell me how to act I'd move back in with my parents.. Until then I'm going to complain about something I paid for to work.. That's how consumers are, deal with it. You don't like it? You don't have to read it.

Your right krazyx86 I do not have to read it. The same way you do not have to read mine. See how opinions work? See how I am entitled to it? We can agree to disagree. However if you think most of those MMOs I listed were fixed day one. Then I do not know what game you played. Most of them you could log on but had issues that made them hard to play and extremely frustrating! K "kiddo"?

Lets throw out some more examples.

Skyrim for the PS3, still no DLC! Because they can not figure out how to make it work.

We pay millions and millions of dollars to the people that run countries to fix things and look how long that takes.

Anyone ever done any coding? You fix code line A, sweet we fixed that issue. Crap it messed up code line C. Fix code line C, it messes up code line A again. Now what? Go through everything step by step and figure out where it is messing up. It is a tedious job.

Hearthfire sucked anyway. Not missing out on much with that particular DLC.
