Well im not saying that a reason needs to be shoved down players throats, more of an incentive to be grouped/guilded socialize a bit and encourage social communities to grow, nothing more alienating than game systems that present nothing but downsides to being grouped.
And they most likely do have more than one person working on chat, however I imagine that chat coding isn't very simple especially when taking into consideration ingame player distances for /y /s + bubbles (assuming /s /y are even in the chat system at this point in time?) not to mention weaving in a rubbish voice chat. In any case I'd hope the people on the chat development team are focusing on fixing the current mess and only that. Rather have one thing fixed and working properly than 2 half arsed jobs. (safe to say if chat bubbles are implemented soon they'll probably be as messed up as the rest of the system)
Get with the times! Who uses chat these days, Teamspeak's where it's at!
See statement above.

That's cause you don't have any friends. Friends will revive you 90% of the time, with a 10% margine of error.![]()

2. Lack of scope definition. How much "area" does Area Chat actually cover? I have no idea, but it's not much.
3. Definitely need a "global chat" for all players on any server.
4. A server-wide channel for "Looking for Group," or need to add more missions to the N-map, like WoW Dungeon Finder. I'd love to get some help on the San Quentin mission but can't get anyone to answer.
5. "Looking for Clan" channel.
Ventrillo, Mumble, teamspeak are your friends. Use them or lose them.
Anyone that knows mmo's knows that chat is useless. Full of rants and trolls.
Guilds, clans, whatever never use chat anymore.
The N-Menu is strictly for instanced grouping. It is dungeon finder, just not for overworld quests. More missions are added as you progress upwards in EGO levels. I have 7 at 631 EGO.
That's half the fun IMHO. Either trolling the trolls or taking a playful shot at someone. It's good fun.
