hey i also noticed in the missions people show up see your doing well and just go for the easy "pass go collect 200" route you do the work they cash in and i try group invite people mainly so i can keep an eye on there health and help them and no one ever accepts.... ive done every mission up until crossing the golden gate solo and it was soul destroying

Couldn't agree more the game feels like a single player with random NPC's doing god knows what....
Heck, I would group with people if I actually knew how to invite them. I am sure I could figure it out but I am usually busy shooting stuff in the face/mouth/glowing spot....
But seriously, I have no clue how to invite people to a group....

They really should have just called this an open-beta. It would give them an excuse to all of the problems wrong with the game.
I got a blind invite to a clan...I finally figured out how to turn in down, clicked "Decline", and I was _still_ added to it! The best part is that when I went to leave the clan, I had to pay materials AND scrip.
I do my best to be social in small ways, like dancing at ammo dumps, or waving at random players, heck I even honk my vehicles hooter as I'm driving off after leaving the air thick with the smell of burning rubber from the donuts I just pulled.
Sadly most of this entertains only me, but you know, my head is the world I inhabit after all.
Regarding rezzing, well THAT is a true MMO phenomenon. Guess most FPS players just reckon the player will respawn, after all it's not like your groups gonna wipe after a 4 hour dungeon slog. I do so miss those days, thank goodness for BMG's so I can get some of my healer on.

Zone chat would go a LONG way towards the social aspect and grouping/questing. As of now I have not encountered anything besides major arkfalls and PvE group instances that is not soloable though.
I agree we need improvement to the chat system, a chat window imo is really needed.
Personally I never liked chat bubbles, but I dont object to them being added.
Zone chat would be great when we have a chat window.
As for people not ressing.. that kinna is normal in mmo's, even in raids and everyone having mass-res abilities, I dont think thats right, but Ive come to expect this.
But yes.. effectively its the community that makes the game in the end and it being hard to communicate makes it very hard to become one.
