I can think of more annoying and badly voiced NPCs from a number of other games. First one that springs to mind is that god-awful Sylvan Necromancer guy from Guild Wars 2. Made me wish I could defect to the Dragons' side just so I could smash his tedious head in.

You mean Trahearne? I mean, almost EVERYONE hated that guy. I didn't mind him either. Sylvari are known to be serene and calm, it was just that he was too robotic and monotonous at best. Tybalt's death was a slap in the face. We all freaking loved that guy.

As far as Cass is concerned, she has a personality, an attitude, and a little spark. But that's how I feel.

I have a love/hate relationship with her. There are some interesting facets to her personality, just listen to the "Meeting Cass Dukar" data recorder. It's pretty amusing. Otherwise, there are certain things about her that just drive me right up the wall. "I'ma do mah thang" for example. If I could just shoot her dead right there I would be so much happier.

I can't say I agree with the OP - Natalya from Goldeneye on N64 is far worse! It's like she genuinely has a death wish, in a mission where keeping her alive is mandatory. Very frustrating indeed.

I quite like Cass. I can understand her attitude grating on some people nerves, but as long as her dying doesn't make me fail the game, I'm happy

I actually have no problem with Cass - it never occurred to me that she'd be hated until this thread (although now it's pointed out I can understand why, but still doesn't bother me personally).

Oh yes, Trahearne must be one of the most boring npcs ever. He is supposed to be inpiring? Im suprised the troops dont fall asleep when listening to him. Sieran and Tybalt, now there is personality. Cass also has a certain interesting personality to her.
