I am indifferent towards Cass. She doesn't fill me with rage, like she inexplicably does for some people, but when I see her I'm never thinking "Hooray! Cass!" either.

Von Bach is THE WORST. I'm hoping making him such a dirtbag was intentional, and we get to have a boss battle against him down the line. Just have another character take over VBI to keep the brand name going.

Cass is awesome, only second on the sympathy scale to Von Bach.
Tork however wouldn't be missed.
There's a data recorder with her having a conversation concerning settling her gambling debts ... that one kind of says all there is to know. Sadly I realized I know people like that.
