She's a little unsubtle with her constant shtako and jaja references. I don't know why "cursing" in another language bothers me to much, but it feels like the writers may be trying too hard. Plus, she's half-yelling all of her lines. That drives me up the wall.

I agree with this, the problem I have with Cass is that her attitude feels too "forced" I guess would be the most accurate word that I describe her with.
I hope in the future the writers are able to put some polish on the character, as I do feel sympathetic with the writers as I find females in the foul mouthed / abrasive role are infinitely harder to pull off than males, and come off as more than just annoying.
No, how about they kill of your toons in the dlc and make you start all over eh? Cass and her attitude fits the game and is needed for it to have the feel that it should.
All characters got a "soul". If you don't like or like a character, that means people behind voices, cinematic scripting && dialogues writers made their jobs correctly. The biggest insult you could do to people who imagined those characters is to totally forget a character.
I personally find all characters really good. The only problem is they miss of "depth". Evil is evil, kind is kind. No secret plot. No hidden stuff. Nothing about the past of each characters (except terraforming than we learn).
The only issue is they don't react like normal humans, but more like heroes. It's too much obvious. They never fail, they never say "no", they never doubt (or wait, 2min for the most sceptic).
I personally love Von Bach && Cass. They got a true personality, and got human defaults.
I loved Cass and Von Bach, they were hilarious. Cass's awkward uses of human + Votan curse words was cute, and I liked the fact that even though Van Bach was an ******* to everyone, he treated you and his other employees with respect. He's a great boss.
I got no problem with Cass and I must say the french voice acting is rather good overall (best to me being the actor behind Varus, very convincing) besides Nolan. Seemed a bit out of place as if the actor was reading more than acting.
I believe that they Curse in the Alien Language, is to get you oriented with the show, kind of a Assistant Translator if you will... Like the Show and the Game Both need some other approaches to them, but over all it is one of my Fav games
