Yeah, I can see private instances ruining the game for people not in clans, and people in clans that aren't very communicative.

Yep, people that use BMG's, crimefighters, shoot locks, lay on the ground waiting for a revive are SOL. Bad WM players are going to have to drop there own spike's for a change. I am loving this.

Has anyone seen any details on how they plan on implementing it?

Well, the devil's in the details but here's my WAG:

• Before entering the arkfall some kind of dialog will be displayed asking if you want to create a private instance
• It will cost extra (scrip, salvage, spikes, rep) to spin up a private instance to help cut down on everyone creating their own
• You will be designated the leader and be able to invite people from your clan or friends list (group invite)
• As leader you will then be able to start the instance whenever you choose (group going into co-op)
• Only the leader will be able to invite people
• The leader will have the ability to kick players from group
• Pursuits will be added for leading a group that beats the WM, beating the WM with X number of friends or clan mates

Again it's just a WAG and I don't know what can and can't be done with the current framework that they are working with, but it's how I would do it.

When they first announced private instances way back they said that the private instances were going to cost arkforge, I asked at the time but they never replied about the possibility of like a clan pool of arkforge, where clan members could put arkforge into a pot for clan based instances, wont be fair if its the same person paying all the time, especially if it costs forge

If it will be accessible only by paying arkforge, I'll never play the instances. I refuse to dump any more money in to this game. I've dumped more than enough. As far as earning the arkforge, sorry, I do have an offline life and refuse to spend months collecting Arkforge to play some new instance. Because when i do, a month later, they'll make it free and I will have wasted all that time for nothing. This is how "they" do things. And I refuse to partake. I'll walk away leaving my EGO at 5,400 and call it "Game Over....Find a new game". Plain and simple.

Unless the drop rates for forge are increased immensely, i have to agree with ya, as far as my participation is concerned.

We used to have a blast defeating the monkey. I payed for the privilege with the purchase of the dlc. Now, I'm being asked to pay again for the same privilege? No thank you.

I'd just as soon not partake in that aspect of the game. Hell, haven't done one in so long that it isn't a difficult decision.
